That is cool though. I talked to some that had been fly fishing for a few years Saturday that stated they still can't double haul. Something you really need to learn, specially for distances.
I am not trying to come off like an elitist. I am just saying there are fly fishermen and there are wannabes (meaning, if they can't catch it on a fly, they switch to lures or bait)
Doesn't matter to me HOW one chooses to fish. But, fly fishing isn't JUST pick up a fly outfit tie a wooly bugger on and troll.
Learn to fly fish and you will see no need in spending money buying other gear.
