You may consider getting two pieces of 1/2 inch black t & c pipe. Split them in half and thread the cut ends. Weld a gentle hook to the end of one, as you feed this end down add the next ten feet on with the thread and coupler. The cutting end of the auger should have the loop or the support for you blade that you can hook onto. Make sure that the hook on the end near perpendicular to the pipe and long enough to stay attached to the auger when it goes vertical. It sounds like you have a camera so you can see what you are doing. You must know a person that can help you build this contraption.
