I agree with the various folks that are weighing in with the warnings of caution so please do not think that this post is disrespecting or disagreeing with them. Their accounts are accurate and should be heeded.
However, I was checking on predicting the wind based on forecasts and one of those unexpected occurred -- just one data point but I did go out today and it was forecast to be light but need to show you how light. I will attempt to submit a photo that I took with my cell phone from the narrows at noon today Jan 27, 2015. The photo says it all....
