I decided to pay a visit to both reservoirs this past Saturday. Both are very low. Chesterfield is below the ramp; the north end is either dry or a big week bed, but the canal company has started a trickle of water into it. 24 mile is just as bad. The water level is just above the water take out, and it is one big weed bed. As of Saturday, NO water had been diverted into it. We need a huge water year to fill both, especially Chesterfield.
