Update! My knife turned up! Turns out after searching my car, my buddies truck, and everywhere in between the pocket clip caught on the seatbelt in his truck. His wife even rode around town using the seatbelt all day yesterday and never noticed it. Finally when he put something on the seat did he notice it. I don't feel near as naked now and if I ever decide to get a new knife I've got a couple models picked out already.
