I'll second the Sweedish Pimple in pink for Kokanee. I have also found that if you want to be successful for Kokanee in Mackay and Ririe you should be fishing at suspended depths. In Mackay around the dam I like to fish 2 depths. 10' and 20'. Kokanee are schooling fish and they rarely school near the bottom. Their food source is suspended in the water column since they are primarily a filter feeding fish. I also like the single hook option on the pimple tipped with a mealy or waxie. Pink seems to be the ticket.
In Ririe it is the same deal. However instead of 10' and 20' I tend to fish 20' and 40'. Once you find the Kokanee in either Mackay and Ririe keep that pimple bouncing to keep those fish interested or you may have to wait a while until they school back around.
Good Luck!
