Frank sharpened my 8 inch nils two or three seasons back and I've had it for five seasons but it needs sharpened again, or I may need to buy a new head but it's been a great auger, instead of buying a new head, at $110 I opted to buy a StrikeMaster Lazer 8 inch hand drill,, and got it for $70,which i cant wait to try.
and I keep an Eskimo 8-inch hand drill as a 2nd/backup.
