Live in coeur dalene and want to start fishing salmon and really would like some steelhead.
I figure the best spot to go is down in hells canyon. I've done a lot of backpacking in the area just no fishing.
So being in coeur dalene, is that the best area for steelhead? and the best time in the fall? just watch the dam numbers ?
is there any salmon going now?
pretty excited to do some research on poles and gear.
