There are some fall chinook coming in to Lewiston right now, but the numbers are not that great. The Steelhead numbers are also poor, but there are fish to be caught. Brads superbaits from a boat for salmon or plugs for steelhead (hot lips, hot shots) will work right now. 8'6" or 9'6" medium to medium heavy is a pretty good all around rod for both.
