Today I took out a couple of gentlemen for a 4 hr. trip on the "Big-G". The water was just dead calm and combine that with no current it makes for a tough morning. I had them using small swimbaits along river edges and they were able to catch several fish along with a couple of solid fish in the mix. We then moved into some shallower grass areas and they went to work with senkos and was able to have a great time just catching a few fish to rib each other with. There was one though that one of the guys had that after a good hookset the fish made a turn and broke off, another story about the one that "got away". Calm conditions can make things a little tougher but when the wind does get started the action can make a big turn around. Have fun, Mike Carter
