Took a friend out to try to catch a few cats. We fished the shore near the airport. We caught over 25, nothing longer than 27", kept a limit. I've not worked so hated, I had to net his fish as well as mine, unhook his fish, tie new hooks and fillet our catch at the end. It was worth it as he had a grand ole time!

I forgot to thank BLK and Tin Can for their advise. It is always good to ask.

What an awesome day for you. Congrats. Would you mind sharing what bait you used? I'm just trying to stay current.

We used white bass and shrimp. Both worked but the white bass stayed on the hook longer.

Thanks. I caught a couple of smallish cats at Lincoln this evening on shrimp but wished I had had white bass.

Always willing to help. Can't remember what it was I may have said, but whatever it was, I'm glad it worked out for you and your friend.
