Willard Wednesday
#1
We decided to hit Willard last night for a few hours and it turned out to be a perfect night. It cooled right off as we launched at about 7, light breeze kept the bugs down. Sunset was amazing. The only problem was the fish must have been all looking at the sunset as well because they didn't see much that I had to through at them. We did catch one 28" kitty that is still swimming.Fun Night!

Thanks for the report. What was the water temp? Where did you troll? Did you see anyone else doing any good?

I don't know what the water temp was. I have a very old fish finder and it doesn't tell temp[Sad] it basically tells me where the bottom is. But it felt warm when my kid splashed me.

We were trolling. We had a line set at 5' 10' 15' and 18'. We found the kitty on the 10' setup.

We did not see anyone else catch a fish but oddly enough we did see several cats floating belly up as we were trolling by. I don't know if they were a casualty of deep hook sets or if something else was going on but i did think that was a little odd. most were decent sized as well
