Hey Yall
Been out of it for a while. My question is about utah lake. Is it safe to fish in a float tube? Last I heard the algie had things shut down. Be fishing the Knolls and Lincoln Beach>-.

I think it would be OK if you are wearing wadders. Don’t think I would expose bare skin.

Yes, Lincoln Beach is closed, but I heard from a reliable source that they are really trying to stop those who actually jump in the water and they aren't out to ticket anglers.This morning I saw at least 3 boats that had launched and at least one wasn't there to fish. I was exercising my civil disobedience by fishing from the shore. I was all ready to cancel if I saw a lot of scum, but the water looked as clean as it ever is. Didn't detect any extra fins or anything else wrong with the fish I caught. And no armored brigade swooped down to haul me away at gunpoint.
