Utah is not an easy place to manage fish.
It's all an ongoing experiment trying to give fishers fish to catch in a dry hot state with 3 distinct fisheries temperate zones.
Mid eutrophic lakes are hard if they are small like LC, RP, Echo, EC, PV and many of our mid altitude lakes. They get drawn down and they warm up. There are not many shady areas to hide in. The creeks and rivers are flowing slower and not bringing in as much Oxygen and something has to give.
Kokes like cold water most of the time, the spawn may be stressing them already and showing up at their traditional staging areas, not getting enough O, finding the water shallower and warmer and then trying to get into a very low river could for sure hurt fish. To bad.
Maybe the experiment will show a different fish to be better for LC.

The deepest parts of LC are over 100 ft deep, even now in these low water conditions, so they could can find cooler water but the ox levels are a different matter, little water flow into the lake this time of year.
