#1
Well in utah at least:

So yesterday i was in walmart, they were having a sporting goods clearence, 1 item literally jumped in my car so i though what the hell ill buy it. It is a 9" storm wildeye swim shad, this thing is massive, what is it intended to target, is it stripers, lake trout, musky, All of the above none of the above. Even if i never use it i think that it was worth a buck it is kinda funny.

That is a muskie lure waiting to be dipped. Got a few myself here and have caught a muskie on em and lost one. I am sure you can get other various large species on it, though.

The large swim baits, craze started some years ago in southern California. They made them to look like rainbow trout. They make them up to about 12" they catch monster bass on these huge baits. The bass fisherman in California found that the big bass really keyed in on the planter rainbows. Now there is a bunch of people making swim baits of all sizes and colors. Some of these baits go for a whopping $35.00 each. So I would say you got a pretty good deal buying one for a dollar.

What location were you at. I could use about 20 more of those things. It is one of my favorites. I have even caught fish on the next size up but the 9" All pearl white is my favorite.
