I got out for a little while today about 11. I just fished the dock today. I got 15 Rainbows from then till 2. I was using worm and mellow with a sliding sinker. There were some extremely rude people out there today. But I got them away from me easy enough. They were sure shocked I was releasing, though. One guy asked why I was cutting the hooks on my fish rather than going doctor on them. I told that dude that if you put your pliers down a rainbow's throat they will not live. He just laughted. I don't think he believed me.
Despite the crowds I do believe I'm going to try to make it back out there tomorrow, monday and tuesday. If any of you make it out there and see a kid with a grey sweater, light camo hat and dark camo fanny pack on the dock stop and say hello.

Way to go Kid! You just keep cutting them hooks off. Those who know and understand will tip their hats to ya and maybe even share a tip or two. By tellin that fella even if he did laugh he now has something to think about. The next time he hooks a trout he may just cut his line also. I mean how much are hooks? So ya done good Kid, share the knowlage and keep up the good work.

Jeeze! I could only imagine a 50 fish day... I hooked one of those albinos after they first planted them, but since then they haven't bit for me at all. All I want is one bigger one, you know, 20" long or better. My dad has a taxidermist he knows that dose fiber glass mounts so the fins can look half normal. I've seen a few of them that are horible fishermen. They bug me to death! I swear competent fisherman are the rarest thing on that lake! Oh well. Its a good place for learners.
Tomorrow I'll be there for sure. I was a little bit under the weather today. Track in Heber at this time of the year is not the best idea. If you can make it, I'll probly have on a blue jacket and green hodman waders to keep warm. I need to get some more fishing in for spring break!

I caught most of my fish on a captain, but my son caught some on a renegade.

Thewere bitin' everything today, even our two inch long bobbers. I got one bow on a small dry fly, and messed around with the gills for awhile. Got five or six bows on a jig tipped with a mealie a few feet down too.

This year I'm running Track for Granite high. Last tuesday we had our first regional meet in heber. I had to run the 1600, which is like 5 meters below a mile, in the rain and snow and wind. That little bit of a run gave me bronchitus or some crapola like that. I just thank the big man upstairs the 3200 was canceled. I don't think I could have run it. Two miles in the rain is a little too much for me.
