What to do with Stripers @ Powell
#1
I've spent quite a bit of time this evening looking at past posts and reading almost everything on wayneswords.com and I am still left with one question.
From everything I have seen and heard, you are supposed to keep all stripers you catch at Powell. Well......what if you don't eat fish? Do they want them released? Do they want them whacked and sent to the bottom? I'll be heading down in a few weeks with the hopes of catching a few. Just not sure what to do with them after I catch them.

well they don't want you to waste them so killing them and sending them to davey jones locker is illegal. So either realease them to fight another day or keep them on ice and give them to a freind your choice. I would find a freind or neighbor that would like them.but that is left up to you. Best of luck to you on catching stripers. I will be down at powell on sunday till saturday.

Stripers are good eating fish so want not waste not! I agree with mike give them away or release them to play wth another day. There are always people there willing to take fish of your hands so you can ask anyone there fishing from a boat or especially from shore if they want them.

I don't think your allowed to "donate" your catch from your boat or at the shore for that matter. I think it must be from your residence or place of abode. I'm not sure if a campsite applies.
