Willard Report 4-1-2005

[font "Comic Sans MS"][black][size 3]IFG and I took the boat out to Willard for a shakedown cruise before heading for Powell. We were on the water by 11:00am and buzzed over to the west end. There were a number of boats already there. We saw Biteme and his brother and Dad and they were already hard at it and had landed one wiper for their labors.[/size][/black][/font]

[font "Comic Sans MS"][black][size 3]We started trolling with two side planers out and two lines straight out the back. We ended up landing 5 fish and lost as many. IFG had never fished wipers on Willard before so it was fun to watch him get into it. Glad the fish were cooperating. We fished till 3:30pm then headed home. The weather was decent but when the breeze came up, it put a chill in the air.[/size][/black][/font]
