i'm not sure where chaplain point is mike. we launched on the south side of the little arm that is just north of the outlet. there were alot of fish stacked up on the steep slope of the outlet in about 85 foot of water. good luck to ya.

I hit renagade Sunday with my sister, bro-in-law, nephew, and a friend. Got there just inside the bay. We were all fishing from the shore. Started at 3pm and ended at 6pm. I was the only one who caught anything. They were both about 16" so I had to put them back.
My point is, The berry is pretty slow for some reason, but maybe that's just me.

When I was at East Portal, the same thing. Lots of soft hits or short bites but few hook ups. We only caught 5 or 6 each also. I think the whole lake has cooled off a little for some reason. I want to be up there when it picks back up. What channel does BFT use on the water when using walkies?
