sorry this report is late, but I went out and hit scofield for some fishing on monday and well other than the hurricane force winds untill late in the evening and only one 9" tiger it was a lot of fun. Luckily I brought a crawdad trap and caught a bunch of mud bugs. Anyway there are a million red sided shiners in there right now so at least the fish are fattening up well.

Thats not too bad, all the lakes that are heavily relied on for irrigation are down a lot more than that, so it must be normal evaporation or the amount they let out to keep stream flow at a certain level. Have you ever used your crawdad traps for trapping minnows?
