So I finally picked up fly fishing this year and have been out about 4 or 5 times. Mostly on the green and middle provo. I am hitting the weber tomorrow and was wondering what might be good to use. Will probably go around the taggart area. Or are there some better areas around Morgan with the new private property rule? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am exited to be participating more on this forum now than the general Utah one.

My son and I fished the Weber just south of Coalville on Thursday for the first time. We usually go to the MP cause we just started fly fishing a couple of months ago. It was a great time to be on the river. We each hooked about 5 or 6 fish but never netted them. Seen a few BWO's flying around. Didn't notice any midges but seen lots of scuds in a nearby irrigation ditch but none that I could see in the river. I lifted up a submerged rock and underneath were a few small black flat looking things like maybe slugs or leeches. Could this be?[fishin]
