Got up a little sluggish this morning. emoGeezer But nothing some coffee and orange juice wouldn't fix. emoBig
Headed up river to the dam.<br />Caught a few bluegill and bream on some jigs emoFish And rigged up some live bait rigs. Immediately hooked up on a big gar! emoDance Could get it to fit in the net and it came unbutton. emoBang Did that 3 more times and finally got one in the boat about 4 feet long but when Sam held it up to get a picture he let it slip and it fell onto the casting deck did a backflip into the water. emoBang emoBang So no pictures of gar! But then .............................the very next bite was not a gar. It stayed down and pulled drag. emoScratch Sam whatcha got? Well the picture is self-explanatory! Took him 30 minutes to get to the boat and me 10 minutes to figure out how to grab it and pull it in. emoToast emoBig
