I am thinking about a trip down to the boulders to camp and fish for a night or two, and was hoping people who have been recently might give me a bit of insight. I know that the lakes with the trophy brooks are kept pretty secretive but could definitely use some help being pointed in the right direction. Just for reference, I am not adverse to hiking upwards of 10 miles in to a destination. Thanks!

FYI, You should check out the Utah Regulations for what bodies of water are still open. Most on Boulder Mountain closed Nov. 1 and don't reopen until late April.

I think lower bowns is still open. Fishing there is great for planter rainbows but not brookies. All the good brookie ponds are closed like riverdog said. Too bad though because the fish do grow big in some of those lakes.
