All I can say is I hope Dave and I can catch a few like this in the Winter Crappie TX next Saturday (2/11/12)! This monster Dave caught was 2 1/2 lb. and just shy of 17&amp;quot;. I thought I was going to have to tie him in the boat because he was jumping around so much. I was afraid he was going to fall in the lake! Dave and I got a late start Sunday and did not get on the water till almost 9:00. Went to a spot that Dave had good luck earlier in the week. Fished water from 5 to 15 ft deep. Temp was 49-52 degrees. We were using 1/16 oz. BG lures with bobbers. Caught several shorts and ended the day with 9 keepers. <br />
