Eeek !!! WD40 is NOT made from fish oil its a urban myth you can go on to the WD40 web site under the about section and WD40 themselves state it is not made from fish oil.
(excerpt from wd40.com )
We believe this legend came from folks assuming that the product must contain fish oil since it appears to attract fish. Sorry Charlie®, it just ain’t so.
"WD-40 Company has taken steps to respect and conserve the environment, and encourages its users to do the same. While WD-40 can be used to help protect fishing equipment from rust and corrosion, WD-40
Company does not recommend using WD-40 to attract fish."
But it is made from petroleum products like
Decane which is a common ingredient in Gasoline,
Tetradecane which is a common ingredient in jet and diesel fuel
, &
Dimethyl Naphthalene which a pesticide.
Now back to the ETDT post, use a mild dish soap like Palmolive eco or naturals it will remove the oils contained on the bug spray and help dissipate the the orders
