You're going to make Yotes day watch out he might give you a kiss. How's the water level? Good job finding the missing species. Later J

I'm not sure how the water level usually is this time of year, but It seems pretty low to me. Sorry i can't give you a better idea how low it is.

Extremely low. I do some farming with a friend we drive past. I haven't seen it that low in a couple years. Well it seems extremely low to me.

Now lets not make promises I can't keep! haha I never believed they were gone, just being incognito, or playing possum! I've seen a few reports that show some promise for my little yellow friends. Hopefully good news for this year's ice. Might have to hike down a bit farther to get to ice if it's THAT low! I was gonna say - at least you've got some nice beach area to wander. That perch looks pretty chunky! Mind if I ask what kind of rig you were using? I think it's time for me to tie up some drop-shots! Might just have to run the boat up there. Don't think I've floated it this year. Fall can be some good fishing there. Lunker - you're a farmer now?

I figured that would make your day. I know how much you like those tasty morsels. Later J

We just had a sinker about 12 to 18 inches above a hook baited with a piece of night crawler. Nothing fancy.

Sometimes there is nothing better than the classic rig and too often we forget to go back to basics. Thanks for reminding us. J
