VISE PORN!!!
#1
Figured every other website has one. Why not this one!!

I'll start! Tied these up this weekend. After seeing Paveways fly box, I figued I had to step up my game a little bit and start making "pretty" flies!

All other BFTer's! Post up any recent/past flies you've created for others to see and get ideas off of!

Starting off, some sz 18 caddis! Thanks HFT for the material! Stuff is killer!

Second, a mix of Crane Fly Larvae and the 6 Caddis'.

Thanks for the shout out, but after seeing those it looks like I'm going to have to step up my game. Looks like ya got your hands on a rotary vise. Is that a Renzetti ya got there?

Renzetti FTW! I believe it's the same setup you had. I just don't wrap mine up in the box it came in. Wink I gotta give ya crap out of jealousy! Wish i could be that clean and organized all the time. I do think the Renzetti needs a heavier base.

James - Coming from the master himself, thanks! I'm ready to another get together! Wink

All you other lurkers, POST up some pics! We're all beginners here! Paveway, I know you got the camera to produce some nice shots of flies, as i'm using the same one Wink I wanna see what you got! My memory doesn't serve me well!

Thanks. That is a variation of Sir Oliver Edwards. The case is tight wound hackle. Legs are pulled off Pheasant Tail barbs. Cool tactic.

I've been working up some new caddis patterns and also some bloodworms. The Bloodworm is getting re-worked but this is the current revision.

That caddis is awesome! What's the recipe?

Joni - Loving the cased caddis. Gonna have to try one of those out next time on the vise. How have you done fishing with it?

Here's another I think everyone has tied up!

Nice flies Jim but shouldn't you be tying up some tarpon toads about now?

I am, but figured nobody here could use 'em, or care. Headed to Campeche a month from tomorrow. PM sent.

Just for fun, and to validate my user name, or something like that.

That's more like it. Those big bright flies and the thought of tarpon smashing through the waves almost makes the cold of winter in Utah disappear. Only 9 days until I'll be fishing in the Glades.

I tie a lot of random garbage that never sees my Willy J pack, let alone water. I have fun just fiddle-dicking around. Here are a few:

This is my Koke-Hawke:

My first and probably only attempts at Koke flies:

And here's a random picture of my poor dog. I love to do this kind of crap to her because she takes it so personal, but refuses to take it off because she thinks it'll make me mad:

She's shedding like mad right now and I've discovered that her fur (after combing her I could make another full dog with it) actually does work as dubbing.
