RexFly on KSL News
#1
The RexFly was featured on KSL news yesterday and will be shown on this week's KSL Outdoors with Adam Eakle where we caught some really nice whitefish for a show on how to catch and cook those tasty fish.
Here's the link to yesterday's news segment. No comments about the glare off my head, all others are welcome!

I kicked in $50. This might help my wife's wrist and elbow that gets sore after hours of casting.

You could consider a standard tripod screw so one could also mount a camera, GoPro, phone, GPS, etc. The body mount appears solid, light weight, and comfortable.

Wrist? She does realize, the wrist shouldn't be moving[Wink] Elbow, still using that.
Look forward to your review. I have the chest mount Go Pro. Not all it is cracked up to be. Literally gets in the way, that is my reluctance to this idea.

Maybe her wrist gets sore from playing all those fish. [Smile]

I just know last summer we twice floated the Green 3 days in a row fishing 12 hours each day. At the end of the 3rd day, she said her arm was finally fished out -- but we still went up to the Uintas the next weekend.

If the funding is close towards the end, I might spring for that guided trip on the Green so I can get some fishing in.

Playing the fish should still be reel on rod. Just the casting is reeless.
I think 12 hours a day is going to take it's toll no matter what you use.

I don't see a need for it. Rods are balanced with a reel, so I think it would cause more casting fatigue.

Absolutely. If you get fatigue from rod & reel, get a lighter rod. That's why they make them. [cool]

I just felt motivated to support a local entrepreneur, and I wish him success.

Thanks for your pledge and support. I have no doubt the Rexfly will help your wife. In fact I was going to say if it doesn't just send it back and I'll refund your money. But I realized I should have given a 90 day money back guarantee to everyone.
So here's the deal for everyone, get your Rexfly through Kickstarter and you will have 90 days to try it out after you get it. If you don't like it for any reason, send it back to me and I'll refund your full purchase price. This only applies to the Rexfly Casting System and not the fishing trips.
So what does anyone have to lose? Remember that your pledge amount will only be charged to your credit card if and when we meet the $9000 funding goal.
