This guy that ties hoppers for me sent me this to try out. I looked it up and it says its a great bass fly, I fish mainly for trout and was wondering if it would be a good trout fly as well. Anybody have any answers?

I read that the space creates a bubble trail. I guess I'll never know if it works if I dont try it []

Big enough could be a killer MOUSE pattern

As Hoppers are coming on that fly is going to work great. I would tie a tan version of it.
