Suggestions on Spanish fork river
#1
I heard there are browns and cutthroats in the diamond fork section of the Spanish fork river. Any one know if there are fish? If so what flies are suggested down there

Lots of fish in whole canyon. Up higher there is a lot of private property but there is angler access points. Not sure what they are biting on though.

So I fished Spanish fork and the visibility was about 8 to 10 inches. And the water level was pretty high. So I decided to fish under the surface because i wasnt seeing any hatches or rises. So i put some attractor nymphs on to get the trouts attention in the murky water. I tied on my handtide copperjohn and then under that my zebra midge. And my dad tied on a hopper dropper system, not sure what flies. Fished for about an hour and didnt get anything. So I decided to switch to my basic flashback pheasant tail nymph and gold ribbed hares ear. Fished for another 30 minutes and my dad was getting anxious to get to the farm so we left.. It is a very pretty river and I'm sure it holds many big browns. I'm gonna come back to this beauty when the runoff is less viscious... It is worth the visit. I highly recommend it
