Hit the lower provo at dark. Started with streamers with a glow indicator. Hooked into a pig that i lost trying to net it after 3 runs into the current. I got a bunch of hits on my indicator so i switched to a mouse. Had a lot of hits and big boils but only landed one 14" brown. Pretty fun night.

That's awesome. I always wanted to try night fishing. So were you just using the moon for light then? I know it has been pretty bright lately, but I always wondered if I wouldn't need a headlamp or lantern.
I've waded across a few rivers at night before after a long day of fishing, and I HATED it. Just felt like I couldn't judge what I was stepping on or how fast the water was moving in a certain spot. A headlamp might've helped there. Were you wading or do you stick to the bank at night?

It was pretty fun but not easy. Used the moon for light and small led for the indicator . I stuck close to the bank but was wading. I brought a 4 ft bamboo pole to check where i was walking but still stepped into a few holes and slipped alot.. I dont suggest anyone go alone. But if youre a little crazy when it comes to fishin, like me, make sure someone knows where to find you.
