Carey Lake

Went to carey lake for first outing, since I didn't actually fish at Henry's , usually land a few small perch, but nooooo not today. Boy do we need some water. I only found only 5' where I normally fish and never marked a fish. But what a perfect day it was and my screwgun drilled my 8" auger. So I got the skunk off my back!

I tried ice fishing there once but didn't have a bit of luck. I haven't been there in several years. The last time I was there the water was dang low.

In the past I had caught a few 7" perch and in a decent amount of time but the water was probably 2' deeper. Need more water, come on snow!
