CJ report
#1
Went Tuesday, was very nice, narrows were good at times, brought home 54 perch, seemed like bright green was the best along with orange 1/8 oz jigs tipped with cut bait, caught some off just a worm, awesome day for being Feb., most were 10"ers, perfect eater size, good luck

Thanks for the report Matt. I've never seen it so warm in mid February but we might as well enjoy it.

Nice. Thanks for the report. Yeah this weather seems a little bit ahead of schedule.. Did you find any crappies? They should be turning on a little by now..

Wife and I went on Wednesday and had another great day. Came home with another bucket of nice eater perch. Seemed like they would eat anything if it had enough worm or cut bait on it. We found that fishing 2-3' above the school would consistently produce the larger fish. We found the larger schools suspended at 15’ in ~40’ fow. Just fishing the narrows. We did a fly by over the hump and it was loaded with fish on the west side. We didn’t have time to fish it but maybe that’s where the crappie are hanging out.

Windy. Windy. Windy.
Eyes and skin are fried.
Good perch in the morning in the narrows. 45 ft of water perch at 25 ft.
Cut bait and/or worms worked great.
