Decent bank tangling Willard

Took three of my friends out and caught thirteen wipers from shore. Not the best day or size but still way fun! Threw back the smaller ones. Biggest was 20 inches.

Looks like a good day to me. I will be there tomorrow and hope to find some slabs with my fly rod.

Nice. We fished all afternoon in the southwest corner 4/18, and got skunked. Not a bit in 4 or 5 hours. Saw a few caught, but out of about 2 dozen people I could see, maybe one was caught every 30 minutes, so pretty slow.

Thanks for the report and definitely a good day. You seem to have that shore fishing down! I still can't ever seem to find them when fishing from the shore. Only got lucky that once on my float tube...

it wasnt hot but ffl lover and i ended up with only 14 crappie and 2 cats for the day. i think 5 were on the fly. nothing like wiper but glad we got something. Seems like all the fish are close to shore
