SH Piggie
#1
Hit SH again this Saturday for a few hours in the evening. Water temps 71, water gin clear (as usual). Caught a lot of numbers to start, but no size. That all changed around 8:30pm when the attached piggie smashed my swimbait and proceeded to give me a great fight! She was beautiful at 7.8 lbs. She ended up being the fish of the evening since I was too tired to stay into the dark hours. Beautiful evening!

Thanks...for some reason the pictured got turned sideways and stretched. She was much fatter then she appears in the pic.

Yes...evening bite has been awesome!

Nice fish! Can you imagine how huge she would have been pre-spawn? Hopefully you'll find her again next spring before she unloads.
