WA Reds
#1
Fished WA this week for sockeye. Haven't caught reds like this since leaving AK. Fishing should be good for another couple of weeks. PM me if you want the details. Little over 900 miles round trip from Boise.

Nice haul! Should I sneak past your smoker when you aren't looking? [Wink]

My mouth is watering at just the thought of smoked salmon.

Hey that's my neck of the woods! -at least assuming you're talking about where I'm sure you're talking about... [angelic] I won't hot spot you since you didn't say it in your post.

I took my daughter down there on Friday and it was a blast! We got three limits of sockeye and my daughter (8) caught her first Chinook! Those sockeye are delicious and that's coming from a guy who doesn't like to eat fish!

That's quite the drive from Boise!

You won't find any of these in my smoker. Reds are too good to smoke imho. We even bbq the heads and backbones.

Lol yeah I put on a lot of miles chasing fish. Congrats to your daughter on her Chinook. That is just awesome. I wasn't worry about hot spottin' the place I just didn't want to type out a big report if there was no interest in it. As you know there can be anywhere from 200 to 1000 boats a day fishing Brewster so the word is already out.

Will be flying in to SeaTac Monday next week, working in Edmonds on T/W, then flying out on Thurs. May have some time if there is anything in that vicinity......

Not sure what's happening in that area currently. We were in the north central part of the state. I know PS will be full of Pinks shortly as it's predicted to be a record year but next week will be to early I believe.
