Fishing between Rexburg and Utah Advice

I will be heading to Rexburg in the near future and am looking to get into some fish. I have just started fishing rivers with Rapala's lately and that's been a lot of fun. I would love any advice on some good spots to try. I could be really fish anywhere between Rexburg and Utah, as I will be fishing and then driving home when I'm done. Thanks for any suggestions.

How far off the highway corridor do you want to get?

You drive across the snake down by blackfoot and its a short hop off the freeway in Shelley. Drive across the south fork of the snake by Rigby and the north fork is 10 min west of Rexburg.

Got a few reservoirs along the way also.

A little more info about what type of fishing you want to do and what you want to do as far as detours will help with where to go.
