I have two older models of American Angler electric fillet knives. I'm ready for a set of new blades but the only blades I can find are for the newer models. Are the newer blades interchangeable with the older style bodies? It's not a big investment to find out ($7 plus shipping) but I'd rather save myself the hassle if someone already knows the answer. Thanks.

Try Contacting the maufacturer thru their web site if they have one, they usually have a question and answer section or a contact us button, that would save you some time, I have also found when doing that they will somtimes send you upgrades or take your old one as a trade in and give you one hell of a deal on a new one. its worth a try.[cool]

Hey BLM, I took the blades from the wifes electric carving knife (she has never used it) and they fit my neighbors AA filet knife. I think they all may be interchangable. At any rate he's using the crap out of them with all the perch hes been catching at Deer Creek.
