OK at Rockport - 10/3
#1
Weather was frigid to start (25*) and so was the fishing, but as the sun began warming us a little, the fishing warmed a little also....We trolled in 26 to 50 FOW, lures behind larger spin blade attracters, tipping all with small piece of nite crawler....Rapallas seemed to work best, on our planer boards, but a couple also caught on downriggers at about 14 to 18' depth....quality fish, 15 to 17" range....only a couple other boats on the water all A.M. .... not fast by any means, but pretty decent....Guluk....

Water seems to be in great shape, looks like 97 to 98% full.....last year at this time you almost had to have binoculars to see the bottom of the ramp from the top of it.....EC, on the other hand, seems to be way down from earlier this Summer, when we drove past it today at 4:30 pm (no boats anywhere on water)..... heading back to Rockport next Wed. to try again.....
