Started fishing at noon and my 1st bite was a 6'er on a spinner bait. Then had 2 about 2.5 on a squarbill. Then another big one rolled up on a fluke but could not connect. Caught everything in shallow water off shore. Loaded out about 4:30. The bite will be getting better soon- for numbers of schooling fish. found a lot of bait in slough's. Water temp was 68 today and got to wear shorts and sandals in Nov. ! Hoping the cold front coming in toward the weekend doesn't close the window on the bite as I plan to fish the Veteran's day Benefit TX this Sat. Those Shalla big uns don't like that hi pressure, IMO.
