Got out to the Chick for a while. Was down lake from Harrison to begin with fishing an area and had 2 slap at my jerk bait so pulled out the jig and caught my 1st of the day, an 18 incher out of a blowdown. Hit several more areas but never got another one on the jig. Went up wolftever creek for a while with nothing to show for it. Came back out and was throwing jerkbait on some points near Harrison Bay. Bait EVERYWHERE and so were the bass. Caught 3 in 15 minutes, all better than 17 inches. Had to throw the jerkbait near the school, get it down a bit and let it sit there. I guess with it just hovering there, they thought it was a shad that was stunned and an easy meal. I apologize for the pictures, had to take selfies as didn’t have anyone with me to take photos.
