Isn't the DWR planting 2 types of chubs as well as crappie in starvation or wasn't that the plan?
I'm almost positive that's what I read. so they must not hate them that much. [bobhappy]

[#0000ff]There are a couple of kinds of chubs native to Utah. But the Utah chub is about the only one legal for bait and it is not endangered like some of the others. But DWR does not plant them anywhere...including Starvation. They have planted other minnow species but are very careful to avoid adding chubs anywhere.


I am attaching a printout from DWR after conducting nettings on Starvation to determine the status of forage in the lake. The very last line on the second page stresses that they are not adding ANY more forage species until they conduct more studies.
