After starting out pretty slow at 0800, trolling action picked up better as the day warmed up....nothing big, netted 8 and missed another 6 or 7 good hits....pulling spoons and pink colored hoochies behind home-made blades, all tipped with 1" pc of nite crawler....cold to start, abt.38*, and too windy half the time, but the other half made it worth the effort....in my canoe with elec. motor, it's easy to change speeds frequently, and that seemed to help....all abt. 12" to 13.5" the largest....so I guess last years planters....still fun......Guluk...

Thanks for the report Joe, sounds like you did pretty good. Was the 38* a water temp or air temp?

Hey Curt -- air temp at EC was 38* on Tues, 35* on Wed, and 45* on Fri, all to start at about 0800....water temp. on Tues and Wed was 50* at surface, and forgot my fishfinder yesterday (Fri.)...but didn't need it.....they were in the same places as Tues. and Wed. -- UNDER WATER ---- just kidding --- but I think anyone who trolls EC knows where the fish are - mostly everywhere....didn't see shore fishermen having much luck though....fish we caught on Fri. were averaging an inch longer than other days, esp. closer to the dam area....no giants for us again, but alot of fun getting good tugs from some pretty nice fish....Guluk..
