Just to let everyone know, if you need to get the kids into white bass, or you need your bait supply, you might just find the orchards area just around the corner from Lincoln point to be your spot.
While playing for kitties, I tossed spinners, tubes, curly tails, well everything, and for awhile it was a white bass on every cast.
I did get a 22" kitty at Lincoln Beach area and a 24" at the Orchards, but not very fast for this shore tangler today.
One more thing, minnows, lots of them, about 3" long, were moving in schools through the area. Any idea what they are? Way too soon for white bass or carp, should be too soon for Walleye fry. Not bass or crappie or bluegills either. What in the world could it be? I thought we did not have any bait fish left in UL.
