Lake Coeur d’Alene chinook
#1
The Spokesman Review reports that the "Big One" five- day derby, which attracts large numbers of participants, was able to weigh only 6 fish for the 5 days, the lowest number in the history of the event. The paper went on to report that the chinook in CDA seem to "have disappeared". The top 10 could only muster 6 fish....something very wrong about that!! Sad. Mike

That is Sad but my cousins that chase them have always said they disappear in the summer. They only chase them in the winter and spring. However they say the size has diminished over the years. Maybe due to the Kokanee population. They definitely put a hurt on the kok's but now they are catching some nice size ones compared to the old days.
