Glendale Edges
#1
Fished Glendale today, arrived at 07:00 and had a 7 foot plank to get on the ice just in case. Fishing was slow but caught a few trout, 2 bass, 2 bluegills and a dozen perch and the perch were only 7-8". Fished until 3pm and called it a day. When I and my fishing partner got back to the shore we used the plank we had but it wasn't long enough, we both ended up going through up to our crotch. The slush was about 5" and 5" of snow on top but the ice was about 25". So just a watch out for others to be careful, and you'll probably need a 10-12' plank. Hopefully the edges will harden up with the colder temps expected.
Overall it was a beautiful day to be on the ice.
