The crappie bite is picking up and the small amount of time we spent on bass was productive too. The crappie we found were suspended at 30-44' in 44-51' of water. White jigs seemed to produce better than the others. Water surface temps started out on the 26th at 44 degrees but warmed up to 51 degrees by the end of the day. Not sure on water temps from the 27th since my Garmin striker crapped out. Nice to be back on the soft water!!

The winds on Tuesday were amazing, calm most of the day with a slight breeze that would pop up every now and then until about 6:00 pm or so then the wind started to pick up so we got off the water by 7:00 pm. Wednesday was another story, wind blew pretty good from around 9:00 until we got off the water at 12:00. Enough for whitecaps. That was launching out of Cottonwood both days. Good luck to all and hopefully I'll be back on Saturday with my kids.
