Catching was great on 7”-8” Crappie. Many times we had 4 on at a time trolling small cranks. Might be a year or so before they get to that good 10” size. We did manage a couple nice ones though, end of the day we found some perch and got a couple of those. Great day on the water, I even got a slight sun burn.... narrows were stupid crowded...

Thanks for the report Matt, sounds like a nice day. I love to catching crappie while trolling, too bad they were so small but they might be about the right size for sturgeon.[Wink] If you don't mind me asking, what kind of cranks were you using? The only time I've caught crappie here while trolling we were using blue back lipless cranks.

New to fishing that lake, but curious if there are areas where bank fishing would be possible for crappie at cj? Appreciate any tips

Yea, lots of access points on the lake. Drive around the lake to different access points and see who’s catching fish.
