[#800000]One trip for bass (smallys of course) - boated over 30 between 2 of us. Most were over 1 1/2 pounds. Very fun trip. Texas rig in darker colors.[/#800000]

[#800000][/#800000][#800000]Two trips for trout – boated over 20 each day between 2 of us. Most were over 15”. Biggest about 18”. Kokanee rig with anything pink fished at 10 feet down 75 feet behind the boat using downriggers. Doubles several times both days. It was rare to go more than 10 minutes without a hit. Lost about half as many as we caught with a couple of those from lure line breaks. Most were released and we only kept a couple for dinner that day.[/#800000]

[#800000]PARK UPDATE – Talked to the Park Manager[/#800000]
[#800000]
[/#800000]
[#800000]As we were leaving yesterday, the Park Manager pulled into the park. I stopped and talked to him about the construction progress. The current construction site is at Dry Hollow and should be completed by next year. This will be the main camping area and will NOT have a boat launch.[/#800000]

[/#800000]
[#800000]The current boat launch area will be the next construction phase and will get a new, wider launch ramp to the north of the existing launch ramp. There will not be any RV camping slots in this area. There will be some rental cabins there instead. The existing ramp will remain but will be restricted to hand launching of smaller watercraft such as kayaks. It might also be used for wave runner/jet ski launching as well, but that hasn’t been decided just yet. A new parking lot for the vehicles with boat trailers will be built and will be one level lot without terracing.

Thanks, Bob. After 35 years here, I may finally go fish that spot.
