Hyrum 12-24
#1
Hit Hyrum on Christmas eve, and did well on the perch. Found them in 20 ft. Of water, near swim beach. Most of the fish were between 8-11 inches, and it did not take much to get a bite. Took my 2.5 year old nephew out and he was able to catch a few unassisted. Great times!

How did the ice hold up to the odd weather (rain, snow, warmer temps)

I bet your nephew had a great time. Good for you taking him fishing.

Ice was around 4 inches, not sure how the warmer weather on christmas and today affected it, but it was strong clear ice. I am slightly over 300lbs and seemed to hold me well.

Txs for the info. I think we are headed there Saturday to see if we can elbow our way into a patch of ice Smile

I was there today and the ice seems to have held up well. Still about 4 inches of hard, clear ice.
